Joan M Unger

Professional Experience:

Joan M. Unger joined the firm of Lynch & Associates (formerly Lynch & Blum) in 2006 after working several years with Tim Lynch and Madelon Blum on a wide assortment of cases. Prior to that time, Joan was in private practice for 16 years specializing in admiralty law, personal injury and insurance defense. During that time, Joan also has had various contracts with the State of Alaska, including acting as Director for the Alaska Court's Committee on Child In Need of Aid cases and drafting policies and procedures for the Alaska Department of Corrections. Joan concentrates her civil trial practice in the tort litigation area in both the state courts of Alaska and the U.S. District Court of Alaska. Joan also is experienced handling appeals brought in the State Superior Court and the Alaska Supreme Court. Joan is a member of the Alaska Bar Association.
